Spiritual care

Eran Simchi, Manager of VSJF Social Services, is the official spiritual care worker for German speaking Switzerland accredited by the Federal Office for Migration. This service provides Jewish asylum seekers with a Jewish contact person in reception and processing centres and also at airports.

Amongst the tasks of the spiritual care worker is to provide support for Jewish travellers in the check in and transit areas coping with deaths, emergency situations and crises at airports.
