Continuing Teacher-ED

Every year, the SIG organises a inservice training seminar on Jewish religious education with the aim of encouraging exchanges between staff teaching religion and improving religious education teaching skills of the Jewish communities.

The SIG’s Responsable for Education is also available to religious education teaching staff throughout the year for advice and support.

The teacher conferences in recent years have dealt with the following subjects:

• bibliodrama
• prayer / Tefilah
• theological questions for children
• communicating spirituality
  
• new ways of learning.

The SIG has a small library of text and reference books for teachers. Teaching resources and journals on Jewish education can be borrowed from the SIG .
